Introduction to Mindfulness

This free mindfulness introduction is open to anyone who is curious about mindfulness and how it can improve their health and well-being.

Likewise, also if you want to learn more about the 8-week MBSR program and whether it may be appropriate for you at this time.

What this mindfulness workshop covers?

You will learn how the stress reaction cycle affects our health and well-being as well as mindfulness tools for non-reactive coping.

We share practical suggestions for applying mindful awareness in everyday life.

You get to practice some of the mindfulness techniques followed by an opportunity to discuss your experience with the group, along with feedback from the instructor.

 

Participants in the eight-week Mindfulness-based Stress Reduction program must attend one of the intro/orientation workshops and meet with the instructor.
