Introduction to Mindfulness

This free introduction to mindfulness is open to anyone who is curious about mindfulness. You will learn how mindfulness can improve their health and well-being.

What this mindfulness workshop covers?

You will understand how the stress reaction cycle affects our health and well-being as well as mindfulness tools for non-reactive coping.

We share practical suggestions for applying mindful awareness in everyday life.

You get to practice some of the mindfulness techniques followed by an opportunity to discuss your experience with the group, along with feedback from the instructor.

Participants in the eight-week Mindfulness-based Stress Reduction program must attend one of the introduction/orientation workshops, and meet with the instructor.
