Yoga Nidra is a state of mind between wakefulness and dream state that opens deep phases of the mind. It is a state that promotes deep relaxation & stress relief.
The practice of Yoga Nidra includes eight stages:
- Internalization
- Sankalpa – your heart-felt resolve/vow
- Rotation of Consciousness
- Breath Awareness
- Manifestation of Opposites
- Creative Visualization
- Sankalpa (repeated)
- Externalization
This class starts with a gentle asana practice, followed by an introduction to Yoga Nidra. We will help you set yourself up in savasana for a guided 30-40 minute session of Yoga Nidra. If you would like to learn more about this, feel free to ask.

Please reserve and pay in advance for this 75-minute class. You may need a mat, small pillow or towel for your head, and an eye pillow or eye covering. We have blankets and a few loaner mats for your use.
